Hear me roar!

Since Piglet does not know how to groom himself (or just sleeps too much to do it), he has accumulated a lot of matted hair. Despite our best attempts to comb him, they still kept forming. So we took him to the groomers and asked to make him look like Simba. So they did. If you don't know who Simba is, think Lion King...

So I lied...

After 2 weeks of no running and using my bike to cross-train, my knee felt much better. So good in fact that I decided to run the Cleveland Half Marathon. I just finished a couple hours ago with a net time of 2:23. That's 13.1 miles at an average rate of 10:54 minutes per mile. And I had no knee pain. So needless to say, I'm happy with the results.

Now what?

Due to a knee injury I had to hang up my running shoes and wait on my goal of completing a marathon. :(
I did however find a new competitive way to stay in shape. Bike racing! Please excuse the garage mess behind it...

I think we have over 1 foot of snow so far and getting close to the snowiest April on record. Too bad we'll never find the Easter Bunny's eggs!

That's my new car, a 2007 Subaru Forester XT Sport. Course it's a bit hard to see when it's covered in snow.
